Had their pho dac biet and friend had bun bo hue. The pho was pretty good and whilst others says its intensify of flavors was less than other restaurants, I didn’t really feel this way myself and thought it was quite enjoyable. The bun bo hue was a lot spicier than ones I’ve had at other restaurants so my friend had a bit of trouble finishing it. I would return again if I happened to be in the area and craving Vietnamese, but I would not go out of my way just to eat here.5/1/18Returned to have their pho. With this broth you can taste the pho spices more than other pho. Mum had their need stew with egg noodles, which had good flavour and meat very tender. Serving sizes are big, and I personally prefer to have two people share one dish first then order more as needed, especially if you’re not a big eater.22/4/18This time had regular size pho and regular size stew with egg noodles. We were left satisfied and very full.
Got the Pho Dai. I agree with another reviewer in the the broth is not as flavoursome as other places but it’s still alright. My dining companions really enjoyed their dishes of fried rice, soft shell crab, seafood chow mein and sizzling beef (though it looked a little dry, it was alright). The service was attentive and efficient, helping with placement of high chairs and offering to shut the door because of the draft. Fairly busy on a Sunday night with young families. The dessert (coconut pudding and Creme caramel) i don’t see often so would go back to try. instagram.com
This place is nice for pho and marinated chicken, which is what I usually come for because I live local. The pho broth lacks the intensity of flavour compared to Pho An or even Pho Toan Thang (which I feel is not as good as it used to be but more on that on a separate review I suppose), however it has a nice balance and to be fair this is decent quality for a local pho place, and the kids enjoy it so it’s good enough for me to go back again for convenience and the friendly service.
I’ve been here many times as I’m a great lover of Pho. This is a fairly new restaurant so their menu is still evolving in some areas, but to be honest it’s all about the Pho for me. Every single time it’s spot on. As it’s out of area for me this is my treat when I can convince my partner to wait out the trip. Awesome pho!
Pho was weak and under seasoned, and very miserly on chicken. I live in Newington and looked forward to Madame Pho’s opening as it is a good location, but will continue to go to Flemington for good Vietnamese.
Been here twice now. The first time was quite good service was reasonable even though it was a busy night. Tonight however, is relatively quiet yet they took their time standing around…The food is not bad so if they improve their service consistency I may increase the rating.
Excellent Vietnamese Food and Service. Ph, Crispy skin chicken, pork chop and vermicelli salads are all very good. Definitely recommend this place.
