Meh… got the fried chicken here at Clems after reading so many good reviews about it. Id rather have KFC. Chicken came extremely overcooked and so tough to eat. All the batter was soggy and oily. I asked for more thighs but they apparently only offer fixed combinations… so I ended up getting 2 super dry breasts – oh the joy. Overall, a pretty mediocre dinner. Wont be back.
The fried chicken was ok. Quality meat but the batter was a little soggy and didn’t add much flavour. Probably better than the average cheap chicken shop but nowhere near the fancy chicken places popping up all over Sydney. Therefore, the prices should be lower considering the small portion sizes. I only had two modest pieces of chicken in my meal pack and I actually wonder if they gave me the regular size instead of the large that I ordered.
