This place popped up when cheap take away was not that easy to get on king st in Newtown. I usually go in for a banh mi. 5 dollars gets you pickled carrot, veggies, chilli, mayo, pate and your choice of meats on a white crusty roll. It’s reasonably tasty and filling for $5 and a quick takeaway option . No complaints here. Would returnThey also sell juices, rice paper rolls etc. and have a few dine in table and chairs.
What more can you want.. fresh juice and rolls PLUS it’s $10 for a healthy lunch! Winner alround. We used to drive to the Marrickville shop but now they have opened a second in Newtown. Staff are lovely and quick.
Love the freshly made rice-paper rolls, they make them in front of you! Very reasonable and always good service.Also try the Banh-mi (incredible) and the coconut-base juices.
Aa #1, please! The only gripe I have is that the large cups are orangeand I hate orange. But if that’s my only concern then they’re doing very well. Better to take cash as there is a $0.10-$0.20 surcharge on cards, but that’s understandable.
The service at Delish is extremely friendly and accomodating. We ordered the – ($6 for a large) and it was extremely refreshing and we’ll definitely be returning soon as regular customers!
After a fatty breakfast and a caramel brownie from the coffee shop I needed something refreshing. This coconut crusher was phenomenal. Coconut water, frozen coconut, lychee and mint in a slush of icey goodness.
I’ve ordered a BBQ pork roll with an Orange, Pineapple and Banana smoothie and both were delicious. The bread was crusty, the veggies tasteful and the meat tender. The juice was also yummy and sweet. Definitely good value for the price.
