Very average overall.I had high expectations for this place as I lived in South america for a few years. I even facebook messaged them to see if their pisco sour was legit. They said it was, but no, it was not. Their Peuvian food does not taste like Peruvian food. It’s slop on a plate with an expensive price tag. There are so many better options in Newtown that I will not be going back to this place.

We came to this place for friend’s birthday. The ambience is cozy and upbeat, with latin music playing at the background.Food was unfamiliar, but was well explained in the menu. However, we find service very disappointing. I think there had to be around 7 waiting staff that night, however it took 10 minutes to wave one of them down to take our drinks order, and drinks only came after 10-15 minutes. We ordered the Bandeja Paisa and Arepa duos. The flavours and ingredients are exotic and good, however the food was cold. The beans were completely cold before we got to it. The crispy pork belly was very hard to cut into (later explained by a friend that it’s normal for this cut to be hard and dry), but we really liked the chorizo and arepas.Food and drinks prices are a bit expensive, therefore we had higher than normal expectations. However, we were not completely satisfied at the end. They might do better when it’s quieter, however, we might not come back again on a weekend.

The service here is exceptional, and the food is also decent. We remember liking the ceviche, but I think there are better alternatives in glebe that serves similar food.
