Really enjoyed the sashimi here. It was displayed on a cute wooden platter boat thing and tasted really fresh. Was craving for some sushi, pondered getting some nigiri but got swayed by their selection of creative rolls on their menu.Saw many reviews here recommending the dragon roll, so we did and we were definitely not disappointed. When you put grilled unagi, crumbled prawn, mayo and teriyaki sauce together, what can go wrong? It was super yum! The volcano roll was a good choice as well.Service was friendly, but they dont take reservations from 7-8pm, hence we could only book at 6:30.Price wise, its alright for Japanese food, not the cheapest you can get but we had a good time.
ahhh this place is so good! one of my fav sushi/japanese places! its a cute little restaurant with so many choices on the menu and the pricing is so good for what youre getting! the service and food is incredible , love it
I always enjoy Hikaru, it’s cheap Japanese but very tasty and I keep returning! Can’t go past their sushi rolls, my favourite being the crunchy salmon with a spicy sauce. The gyoza are also super delicious. Plus this place is BYO!
Mmmmm…. this place is a hole in the wall – authentic, delicious and cheap! I highly recommend coming to this place. The food was great and super affordable. Their agedeshi tofu is great – the broth is really rich and complements the tofu so well. The sushi rolls were all very well wrapped and had a good level of vinegar in them. Seafood was fresh and delicious. The wagyu was a tad overcooked but had good flavour and was accompanied by very delightful side dishes. Their nasu dengaku was also pretty tasty. Overall, a very delightful lunch. Id highly recommend coming to this joint.
I got the Chicken Katsu Udon $12.80. My friend got the Spicy Crispy Salmon roll – Salmon, avo, cucumber, tempura flake, chilli powder & spicy mayo $10.80. Also added Miso soup $1.50. Pretty good deal! The place was bustling and we were lucky to get a table straight away. Loved this place for a casual feed.
