The beef in the pho was nicely rare but also the chewiest that I’ve had lately – even worse than Pho 236 up the road. The broth had an alluring flavour but it was very very light – I only noticed the flavour when drinking spoonfuls of broth on its own and I had to mix in some chilli to make the very squishy noodles more interesting. The pho prices are high – $13.50 even during the lunch special – but this is the worst that I’ve had lately. The Vietnamese iced coffee was good though – stronger and richer than most places.
