Actual rating should be 3.5/5.Mary’s is certainly worth visiting for the hippy vibe and decor. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The exterior is the restaurant is basically non-existent so you could walk past and not even know it’s there.The burgers are very nice indeed and the bun and patty are made very soft which makes you feel like you are eating a pillow (in a positive way). The price I felt was a tad high for the size of the burger and the ingredients. The fried chicken (half/whole) bird was not the best I’ve had. It was slightly bitter and didn’t have much crunch.Having said the above Newtown is a place where you would visit for the hippy vibe and the community atmosphere. It was certainly a good night visiting Mary’s. The quality of the food is not of the utmost importance here.

What a burger! The flavour is so delicious that you want more and more and more. The meat patty is juicy and the sauce very tasty. The burger comes with shoestring fries. However, for the size of the burger, its quite expensive. Not an extensive menu and the menu is not very explanatory. Im sure staff have to answer the same questions all the time. The burger is presented on a little plastic basket. So when putting sauce on the chops, be mindful that the sauce will likely seep through the holes. The venue itself is very grunge which is really cool. Dark lighting. Drawings on the wall. Plenty of seating and spacious.
