Perfect frosty weather food. At first I thought the pho was a tad light on colour but boy it was delicious and such strong condiment game. Will revisit I also had the banh xeo / crispy pancake (house special), fried tofu and vermicelli noodles. Tried the spicy beef soup, also a hit. A new local fave!
Delicious and authentic Vietnamese food. We had lunch here, crispy chicken with tomato rice and pork chop with rice Service with a smile We’ll definitely be back!
Mother Yen is a hidden gem! Really fresh, tasty classic viet dishes (and a few enjoyable rogue surprises!) in a tightly packed little diner. Outrageously affordable with large servings and great service to boot. It is quirky in its decor and if youre lucky enough youll hear Mother Yen singing (so sweetly!) as she cooks for you. Its no wonder why the South King St locals want to keep it a secret.
Great food and great service.. will definitely come again.. so cheap and the food was absolutely delicious. My friends and I had a great night. Thanks Andy and Yen.. and daughter Jamie. Thank you.
Food is great service is top love the friendly environment here will always keep me comming back much love for this place in the photos shown is the pork spring rollsLamb sizzling MongolianCrispy salt and pepper squidGrilled pork rice papper rollsExcellent on all fronts. Pho is also outstanding in compairison to most on king street.Pricing per person for a huge feed and drink works out to $20 a head and has great bang for buck
Real authentic Vietnamese food, I don’t need to travel to cabramatta anymore! I love the prawn wrapped in sugar cane, doesn’t taste greasy and their Pho is real broth slow cooked. Takeaway once a week isn’t so bad if it’s home cooked like this-definitely be back!
