I was really craving a hsp and this was the closest place; the meat is incredible and juicy, and the fries are beautifully crispy. Cheese is an extra 2$ and they call it happy box not a hsp but still descent!
Im a regular at Mr Yeeros and have never been disappointed yet. Not much variety on the menu but whatever they do have is absolutely superb. I love their spicy chicken pieces, the bread they use for gyros is occasionally is changed but always makes a delicious late night snack that doesn’t leave you feeling bloated or Stuffed. The portions are very good. The shop is small and gets crowded very easily but everyone seems to be happy with the food and the service. The chaps working are always generous and cheery.
Came here last night for a late night snack after work and had the large mixed kebab snack pack, as well as, 3 wings. The wings were delicious and the kebab with garlic sauce was awesome. The staff were friendly and attentive. Only downside is that, the place is jam packed and there is little to no place to seat down. The food joint itself is tiny, but well maintained. This place is great for grabbing a quick bite.
Mr. Yeeros does not have an expansive menu but it does enough thingsthe gyros, with pork or with chickenwell enough. There are also boxes of fries topped with souvlaki meat and a limited range of salads if gyros are, for whatever reason, not potential patrons’ thing. The gyros, at $8 each, are slightly more expensive than kebabs in the area (e.g., Istanbul on King down/up the block); however, the gyros are something to behold and to taste. Despite the beautiful but apparently simple arrangement of meat, chips, onions, pickled red cabbage and a sour creamesque tzatziki on a slightly grilled pita, one gyros is surprisingly filling and unsurprisingly delectable. The friesconstantly being cooked upmay not be piping hot when they are added to the gyros, but the other ingredients seem to be freshly prepared that the end-product is a mouth-watering, moreish gyros.Service at Mr. Gyros is decent and props must be given for the staff who work until the very late time of 4 am on Friday/Saturday and Saturday/Sunday evenings. The only complain about this hole-in-the-wall is that there is very limited seating (1 table, a handful of seats), very cramped and draws crowds of vulgar and sometimes drunk or otherwise unruly people. On balance, for a gyros fix in the area, we now know where to go. We would also recommend Mr. Gyros to friends who are craving a stodgy, likely not all too healthy afternoon or late-night snack!
Athens style souvlaki…. Very good souvlaki, pretty much the first I tried in Sydney that reaches Greek expectations. Must try the pork yeeros.
