Me and my husband had brekkie at Newton Grind. The coffees were nice and strong, without being burnt, and came out quite quickly. You dont see crab very often on a cafe menu, so we had the crab benedict and the crab omelet. Both were very tasty, and well served. Prices are very reasonable so good value. This place could really flourish if there was a bit more enthusiasm in the service. Did we really have to fetch those water glasses ourselves? It is also a bit strange the kitchen does not have a hood, and depends on the room ventilation to get the smells out, which is not really successful.Overall a positive experience, well be back.

Went there just before they close. Grab a coffee and their giant cookie lol. The cookie was salted chocolate flavour I think. The cookie was not bad at first bite, but as time went by, it became too sweet, maybe I shouldn’t finish it on my own idk. The long black was too sour and strong for me. Maybe it’s better for milk coffee. The stuff were nice and they also has giant muffin~

Had a Iced Latte + ham and cheese croissant + a cookie. Their home made cookies are excellent! 5/5 BUT the rest was not good! I’m almost sure the ham and cheese croissant was from 1 or two days before because it was so dry! 1/5 The latte was regular milk mixed with dark coffee in a regular glass! I was expecting something better. 2/5
