Old school sandwiches but new school prices. I think Sandwich Stack has been around almost as long as Marrickville Metro itself and it’s scary that it’s still one of few decent places to eat. It’s always been a standard sandwich shop, not much fancy about it, but always a big range of fresh ingredients and salads. Only problem is that the prices have crept up to equal the fancy places – my big chicken on rye almost justified $12.50 but really couldn’t match the trendy places, while the roast vege turkish for the same price was poor value – tasty but just a few slices of veges.
Had a deliciously awesome pork gravy and crackling roll. Omg it was so good i could’ve sunk another 5 easily. The roast meals looked great massive amountnof veges and potatoes and meat for 13.90.Gotta visit!tt
