Solo took over the streetside courtyard of this long-running guesthouse and it makes a lovely area to sit around. The lunch and dinner menus bring in simple Indonesian elements, so I thought the rendang jaffle would be interesting, given my obsession with rendang. Good flavour and tender beef but there wasnt much of it, there was a lot of fat, and the flavour was partially drowned out by lots of cheese. At $14, it was very poor value for a jaffle and Id be wary of the $25-$30 dinner mains.
