I’ve never really liked these quick-cook pasta places. Presumably they’re pre-preparing sauces but they still never seem to get much flavour. The Italian Bowl is no exception. I got overly chewy ravioli with the pollo sauce that didn’t have much flavour and had tough chicken bits. It wasn’t terrible but at $18 for a pretty small serve, it should be a lot better. The tiramisu had some good flavours but was about 80% cream.
Tasty and quick pasta from here, it’s always very busy. I ordered the crab pasta special and tomato/chilli/anchovy pasta. Both had a great flavour, and the price is decent.
A great place for affordable Italian eats. Our food came out super quickly and was decent, I love how customisable the dishes can be. The staff were all super friendly, although, service was a bit slow (though gotta say it was a full house when I visited and some staff members were clearly stressed screaming at others). Aside from that, a pretty decent experience!
