If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. Great food, great service, amazing vibe. They did stuff up our order but it was quickly rectified; the quality of their food and drinks well made up for it.
Avo and chicken toastie was out standing. Coffee was very good and the house iced tea was refreshing. Customer service was great. We’ll worth a visit with an awesome atmosphere.
The atmosphere is nice. If you have kids then its a great place to sit and have a coffee. Coffee is average. Customer service is ok . I found it weird they served my short black in a standard cup – sorry im fussy.
Come here for a wholesome, green lunch. Dukkah, hummus, cous cous, these guys don’t just dish out fancy haircuts for men. A nice alternative to the typical fast food joints found in the town centre. Fresh, wholesome and clean- can’t go wrong on a cool Spring afternoon!
Created by brothers Shaun and Brenden Vengoa, Blends and Brothers brings quite a distinctive caf to the Rouse Hill Town Centre. Barber Brenden and his brother Shaun came up with the idea of an espresso bar in an Authentic Barber Shop so that guys can have a quick coffee while waiting for their hair cut. However from there it grew into the caf which replicates something of the culture of rural Italy combined with the style of 1920s London even down to the old school telephone that reminds you of its vintage every time it rings. The relaxed mood and sense of community means you feel welcome to enjoy a coffee and bite to eat, even if you haveno need for a haircut.Meals are healthy and light with the occasional old favourites given a modern twist. Produce is sourced locally from Kellyville Free Range Eggs, Georges Meats Cherrybook and Cooks Co-op Wilberforce among others. The menu is simple but still maintains plenty of variety from Yoghurt with Poached Fruit and Muesli to Bacon and Egg Rolls with Avocado and Rocket, and a Big Breakfast of egg, bacon, mushrooms and greens with optional haloumi. The Smashed Avocado with Minted Feta on Soy and Linseed Sourdough with Cherry Tomato Dressing is not only filling but a delight to the tastebuds.Lunch and breakfast items intertwine on this menu, with everything available all day. The Truffled Egg with prosciutto, avocado and truffled pecorino suits any time of day as does the Du Puy Lentil Salad with pickled vegetables, mushrooms, eschallot dressing and granola crumble. The Chicken and Avocado Toastie conceals the most decadent mayonnaise under layers of melted cheese and once again is deceptively filling due to the huge chunks of succulent chicken and substantial soy and linseed bread. While there are plenty of healthy options, they know that guys love their burgers and hot dogs, so these are also available in gourmet fashion. Im impressed that their Sliders are sold individually rather than in lots of three. It means you can pick the flavours you like, and just have one as a snack if you so desire. Their blackboard often includes hotdog specials and the American version offers that traditional classic of quality frankfurter on toasted bun with lashings of ketchup, mustard and cheese my husband loved this so much, he went and ordered another.Sweet treats are an essential accompaniment to any serious coffee, and are thankfully portioned on the petite side, so as not to completely undo all the good you have done after enjoying your healthy breakfast or lunch.
Great Caf with a twist. Love the ambiance. Great coffee and food to compliment the ambiance of this place.
Great coffee, great cut!!. Usual place for good haircut and I always have a coffee before heading off. If I lived closer, this would be my frequent stop. Good hot, quality coffee and friendly service. Keep it up
