Inside fairly new plaza in North Kellyville lies Degani, a quaint and vibrant cafe. The menu consists of your typical breakfast, healthy, burgers, and bistro selection. But they definitely add a touch of quality and effort into their food. The ambience is welcoming, and has a relaxed vibe to it.
Been wanting to try this place for a while and came here for Mothers Day with my family. The set menu was what sold me – $55 for 3 courses. The food was consistently delicious and everyone in my family was impressed. The atmosphere was relaxing with some live music in the background. Staff were very friendly and gave excellent service. We felt looked after. Also loved the complementary red velvet latte. Will definitely be back for breakfast.
Absolutely love the decor…. Maybe I’m biased coz I love the colour green, but we walked in and I was already loving the place. They had a sign that said free live music on Friday nights so we’ve already decided we need to come again at night. We ordered a coffee and a smoothie to start, both were great and we appreciated that the smoothie was not too sweet. My husband ordered the Degani stack and it looked impressive when it came to the table and tasted just as good. I ordered the Spanish omelette but was a little disappointed. There was definitely a lot of egg, but not enough bacon, chorizo to make it tasty as it lacked seasoning too.
Located inside The North Village shopping centre in Kellyville, Degani offers a large variety of food, from breakfast to dinner. The venue is quite spacious with modern decor that is dominant in black and green colours with wooden furnitures as well. I started with coffee, as always, and its quite good. The first dish I had was the Fishermans Catch. Its absolutely the bomb! Especially if youre a seafood lover, this is the dish for you. Love the crispy crumbs on the outside and the tender seafood on the inside. Fries are quite crispy (yes!) and the tartare sauce.. I want to bottle it and bring it home! Next was the Creamy Bacon Mushroom Fettucine.Its pretty good.Last but not least is the Belgian Waffles. These goodies were served darker and crunchier, which in my surprise.. I really LOVE it and didnt mind at all! The waffles also have a touch of cinnamon which is really nice. The fairy floss on top, of course, always appreciated.
Place is good. Ambiance nice. I just wish they had more bacon in their big breakfast not chorizo. I asked for well done fried eggs because Im pregnant but we were served with well as in burnt. There was suppose to be two eggs but was served with only one however they served the second egg without hesitation. Mushroom okay, baked beans good. My husband and i shared a plate of big breakfast and were filled after. Overall, good perhaps if we ordered scrambled egg i would have rated this place much better.
