This is an unpretentious eatery that took us by surprise. Service is friendly, and the food was awesome. We had vegetable pakoras as starters, then the lamb shank Nehari and Dal Tarka (chana lentils) for mains. The pakora was nicely spiced with a definite kick and not oily, the lamb shank fell off the bone with a perfectly balanced and flavoursome sauce, and the chana lentils is the best I’ve had. We opted for ‘medium’ which was already quite spicy for us, this place doesn’t tone it down which is great! We were so impressed with the quality of the food, which matched good high end Indian restaurants. Days later, we are still drooling thinking about the food. We will definitely revisit.
