I’m surprised that that this place is only currently given a 3.2/5 because I honestly think it ticks a lot of boxes and deserves a lot more attention! Scheduled to try this place for takeaway with a friend. The staff was very welcoming, and I guess it can be a bit troublesome to get to this place (better either by parking or bussing).Unfortunately I don’t have photos this time to back my claims, but I ordered the rotisserie house burger meal (inclusive of chips and drinks) for a very worth $12.50. The chips combined with the chicken salt was really good (some of the better quality chips I’ve had), and the burger was very large and flavoursome, and generous on the aussie beef. Not much to criticise about it, but the cashier had forgotten to give me my drink I had ordered.All in all however, definitely a place worthy to try in the Ryde region. Would definitely take some friends there if they’re around the area to experience some really good burgers!
My daughter ordered a roast pork belly and lemon potatoes takeaway for Father’s day celebration and the taste was amazing. She raved about the cleanliness of the place when she picked up the order – definitelywould go back to this place.
Found this gem after living in the area for 5 years now. Been looking for gyros fix that is close by and looks like we found one!Decent serving for the gyros and good price. A bit dry when compared to other gyros place but still good.Will try their burgers and souvla on the weekend.
One of Sydney best kept secret, this place always surprise me with food made to perfection. I don’t think ive had fries this crunchy before. The Roast wraps ,& rolls are to die for. Highly recommend this place.
Finally I have found somewhere that cooks a great chook like back in the day! I bought the feed the fam pack, generally when I have bought pack style meals from other chicken shops, I have found its not the greatest meal with soggy chips and really dried out chicken, However these guys know what they doing!!! My chicken was so fresh,moist & juicy with so much flavour. :)I then had my salads we opted for the Greek salad. AMAZING!! The best I have had in a long time. It was fresh and packed with loads of feta & olives along with Many other goodies Which a lot of other places these day are quiet stingy with their salads! Last but not least the all time favourite to have with a chook is chips. Again I can’t fault this place. They where cooked to perfection hot and crunchy. Needless to say this place makes you feel like your at home. the Staff are always so friendly and polite. Always happy to try an accommodate you further. This is an absolute hidden gem on North Ryde. I’ll be back for sure! I would highly recommend it!!!!
Not sure why so lowly rated. The service is friendly and you have that local business feeling when you go in. I was thinking of moving into the area so chatted to the staff for a bit and took home a roast pork. It was brilliant. Great crackling which is a sign of a great roast. Well done.
Really nice gyros and souvla near my work. The pita is fluffy and the meat delicious. Chips are crunchy and fresh. The prices are cheap! A big generous gyros is $8.80 which I think is a bargain The place is busy so they must be doing something right 🙂
