Disgusting service and food best describes this experience. Half the food was returned because it was over cooked and was cardboard like. this resulted in attitude from the management. Half the guests had finished eating and others were still awaiting food. The childrens pizza was completely burned on the base and when we raised this in addition to the previous complaints we were told we were difficult from the beginning and too loud (while music was blasting making it too difficult to hold a conversation). When we queried why this was not addressed earlier (In order to lower the sound level) we were rudely told to get out and threatened with a call to the police. They got one thing right in this place – dim lighting so you cant see the rubbish they pass off for human consumption – I wouldnt give it to my dog.

The atmosphere outside was really nice. Wouldnt go back in a hurry though as food is what gets me. I had the beef ribs. They had a foul strong beef taste and smell to them. It just wasnt right. Ill stick to hurricanes for ribs.
This place has an atmosphere all of its own. A huge open restaurant in the heart of North Strathfield Atmosphere has options for those seeking lunch, dinner or a drink to wind down the week. We managed to head in for lunch and try a couple of the dishes. From the entree we had the grilled octopus, haloumi salad and a side of wedges. The octopus was seasoned with a crisp BBQ and tamarind flavour and the haloumi, tomato and balsamic salad was fresh and tasty. A great way to start the lunchtime feast. Our next dishes were the meat lovers pizza and spanner crab linguine. The pizza was topped with all the assortment of meats and on a freshly baked base. The winner though was the spanner crab linguine – the pasta was the freshest and lightest we have had in a long time. We topped it off with a Nutella pizza/doughnut cross. The freshly baked pastry of this dish was addictive and topped with Nutella and ice cream was a match made in heaven. Open late over the weekend this is a place where dinner would be followed by a few drinks in a relaxing and vibrant restaurant. Free parking next door on weekends also makes this a convenient spot.
Worst service I have come across by waitstaff, but what was most disappointing was when I asked if they had something by way of a fruit platter to snack on, they said they had a fruit platter with kiwi, berries, strawberries as well as other basic fruits for $25 which I though was a bit steep but thought, hey, summer fruits can be expensive. This is what we got, 4 fruits used for their juicing, spread on a plate. How embarrassing.
The worst restaurant I’ve ever been in Australia! Ridiculous service and rules! Do not tell you any information beforehand and extra charge you when paying the bill, do not allow you to take away the leftover. Worst experience ever.
Food was ordered, cooked and served at least 5 minutes before the first drink arrived. Given there were only two occupied tables in the place and one of them was finishing their meal it wasn’t due to being busy. A second round of drinks didn’t even make it to the table before the meal was finished and I was ready to leave. On the other hand, the waitress was standing around bored and tried to clear my plates before I’d finished eating. There are plenty of other places on this street, do yourself a favor and go to one of them. Definitely not recommended and I won’t be back.
