Your perfect little dessert bar. Located in North Strathfield, this place is a great cafe/bar to drop into for a coffee or wine and a delicious sweet dessert. We stopped in here for an afternoon snack while around the area. We managed to tackle the macaroons, man on the moon dessert and the nutella pizza. The man on the moon was a cup of salted caramel and dark chocolate topped with caramel popcorn – a very different dessert but worth a try for those that love a sweet and salty snack. The standout here was the Nutella pizza – a thin base, plenty of Nutella, fruit, cream and a topping of brownies. What more could you want. Grab one to share, sit back and enjoy the Parisian style decor. If you do not feel like something sweet head in the afternoon and try some of their wine selection and cheese boards
Had a Groupon high tea voucher – was affordable and food was ok however customer service was horrible! took nearly 15 minutes for waiter to take drinks orders which had to be from a certain section of the menu and once we had finished our food took over an hour for a waiter so to come back to take our 2nd drinks order (included in voucher), the waiter we originally had made eye contact several times and saw we were finished and then left as her shift had finished – new waiter still did not see to us so we walked up to counter to be ignored for 5 minutes before he bluntly said our drinks had to be tea, and under $5 which only left the very basic variety. this same waiter at a previous occasion was rude and nearly abusive to my mum who wanted to buy a chocolate gift back in my presence.Food was decent however there was no menu or listing of what food was given so had to blind guess what we were eating and had no choice in food + all sandwiches had meat even though i specifically said on the booking I was vegetarian and to leave out the meat (did not ask for replacement). Iced chocolate was full of ice to fill cup. Food was decent but would not come back due to bad service from both waiters.
OMG!! DO NOT GO HERE WITH A SCOOPON OR GROUPON voucher!!We arrived to be told can only order a few things from the menu – Cannot order from the glass window!Out of all the things we wanted from the ‘selected’ menu, most of the things were not available!! We couldn’t believe it!!!!Such a waste of money!My belgium hot chocolate tasted like hot water….just grose!!DON’T waste your money!
I like the lounge room setting. The cakes were nice. Found a fly in my banana smoothy though. Not sure if he was mixed with the smoothy or flew in after.
Great atmosphere, the cakes taste as good as they look! Obsessed with the chandeliers and the music. Creates a very romantic vibe, coffees are okay but I will definitely be back for the Nutella pizzas and the cakes 🙂
Came here for high tea with a reservation booked for two. Upon arrival, the staff seemed quite frantic, it was obvious that they were short staffed. Was told that our booking didn’t come through which was a bit annoying. The high tea was affordable and nice but I wouldn’t come back again.
The desserts in this shop are simply incredible. Very delicious, beautiful, and a great way to indulge yourself and your friends. Ideal place to meet up with friends, and service was prompt and pleasant.
