Would never ever visit this place, tried ordering online and when called to confirm, they just hang up and after numerous calls, they said it will take 1 hour and hand up. I am amazed by their stupidity thinking they can run a business with nil customer service!!! Never ever going there.

We went to this Nepalese restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The experience was dreadful and ruined a special occasion. We were the only diners in the restaurant, and after our experience, I can see why. Music tinny and repetitive, not relaxing. Food was mediocre and definitely no better than can be purchased from a fast food outlet. Waitress got my order wrong and came back to our table 3 times, each time rudely telling me it was my fault. Wrong dish replaced however, there was a wait so I ended up with cold rice to eat with the new meal. Garlic Naan was burnt. Very unpleasant to go to restaurant and get attitude from the waitress as well as poor food. Would not recommend this restaurant. If I could have selected rating of zero I would have.

A cosy little restaurant but rather disappointing. Thursday night, and my friends and I were the only patrons! Now I understand why: all dishes rather pricey and very small servings, even though they fill up the plate with rice. For what we were served we got very little value for our money. This was my second visit to the restaurant, and certainly won’t be going back.

I always feel Nepalese food is like Indian food with the option of dumplings/momo’s. Food wise the great experience I had with momo’s in Nepal is not matched here. It’s my guess it’s something from the grocery store. Disappointing. Everything else was fine. Chilli chips was different but nice,my thali which isn’t the usual Indian thali (this was lamb curry, rice, naan, lentils and some salad with butter oil) wasn’t bad and filling. My other friends enjoyed there meals. I was just expecting more flavour. Nil issues with service, prices are reAsonable and ambience wise, the decor feels a little dated. Wouldn’t mind coming to try something else in future

Located on the food street of North Strathfield, Gorkha Palace is one of the best restaurants in the vicinity. The chicken momos at this place were tender and delicious, and the rain outside helped the cause. The Piro Kukhura (Chilli Chicken) and the Khasi ko Masu (Goat curry) tasted just like any other sub-continental curries, with an added flavour of Nepalese spices. They were however quite delightful with the breads. While the lighting inside the restaurant is dim, the ambience is peaceful with the service being quick and friendly. The prices are slightly skewed towards the higher side considering other attributes, however, the restaurant’s worth a try.Overall, the ratings would be -Food – 7/10Ambience – 6/10Service – 7/10Value for money – 7/10
