My wife and I always love coming here but, for one reason or another, hadnt been for several years.It was a Saturday night. We had actually booked somewhere else (Cedrus in Ryde), to celebrate my wifes business being shortlisted for an award. But we had an unfortunate experience there and left. Surprisingly, when we phoned the Liu Rose they had room for us.It was packed when we got there, but we still had a nice table and were taken there promptly. The staff were attentive, helpful and friendly – one in particular was very jovial and joked with us and other guests several times.The food was magnificent, as it always is here. We had the marinated calamari, beef with honey and pepper and the mixed vegetables with nuts. It was all wonderfully tasty and easily enough to sate our appetite.A fabulous night out. Highly recommended.
