Can’t walk past Backerei and not buy something! The cabinet is full of goodies and the smell enticing. I tried the cheese pretzel and the pretzel croissant for breakfast. Both were delicious! Great bakery! theengineereats.com
I really liked the coffee and ham and cheese croissant here. Love the way they open face grilled the croissant and left it crispy – a lost art it seems these days. It’s a shame my coffee took so long though. On my way to work in the morning, I think having to wait over 10 mins for a coffee is a little unbefitting of a city cafe – I mean we’re all busy right? Had I been in the country, well that’s another story.Anyway it was so tasty I will be back, hopefully they get their production line in order for when I return.
