It’s the sort of coffee place that you can walk up to the bar/counter, tell them your order & just leave your coins on the tray on the counter. The people that stop there are all probably regulars from the nearby offices. This is not my regular coffee place, but have thought to branch out & try it. The coffee was ok, but did take a bit of time (only 1 order before me). I’ll probably stick with my regular place next time though.
The crowds say it all. It was absolutely packed for the morning coffee run. Friendly staff and very efficient to promptly churn out cup after cup of Joe. I loved the real chocolate shavings that they put into the cappuccino, you get a nice chocolate hit at the end.
Best coffee in North Sydney by a LOOOOOOONG shot. I have tried most cafs in the area trying to find my perfect morning caffeine hit and this is it! Friendly staff and consistent with their brew. Only once (out of about 50 times now) have I felt it could have been better.
Was introduced to this by my manager who swears by this coffee. Although not much of a coffee drinker, I do like the mocha here. Stronger than what I’m probably used to but a strong coffee is never a bad thing!
Statistically speaking, 46 voters agreeing on an average of 3.6/5 (as i’m writing this), would lend itself to my rating of 4/5 being somewhat an overestimate. But I don’t think that is the case! Worked in a client at North Sydney, and the cappuccino with one sugar which I order on 4/5 of my weekdays for 3 weeks straight everyday was generously delivered with chocolate.Service was efficient (every busy worker loves that), and the staff were friendly with taking my order. The cost of $3 was also a bonus for a worker like me, who always tries to find good deals. Would recommend to any busy worker in North Sydney who needs a kickstart to their day.
This hole in the wall basement coffee bar reminds me of Melbourne. It was quaint, the service was friendly, and the coffee was good. You often see people queue outside despite many other coffee joints offer happy hour cheaper cup nearby. They use shaved chocolate instead of powder to dress up the coffee, giving it extra goodness. thernbdiary.com
I love their cappuccinos, the generously loaded really chocolate on the top of the mug always made my day. The coffee lovers in the office always took a bit walk to there and wait in a queue to order.Sometimes, they give complementary small cookies, so cute and goes very well with coffee.
