Passing grade. Had walked past before but decided to drop in. Had the chicken caesar wrap which was OK but nothing stellar. Also had a brownie which was again OK but not something you’d cross town for. This is a place for the local office workers. Not much more to add – ordered, got water, got served, paid bill.
What has happened !. Went back to Bluechair last week had a terrible experience, firstly the only person who had personality the chef Andrew has gone, there is no atmosphere here any more, coffee was so so, service and breakfast not good, will not go back, this was such a good cafe before the new owner took over late 2012.
Horrible Service. The new owners of Blue Chair Cafe have ruined the whole atmosphere of Blue Chair. First of, paying for something is hard for they insist on cash and treat you worse off if you pay by card. They go rid of the PayPass the original owners had for reasons unknown but now it makes a quick lunch or coffee that much more difficult to get. Asking for a simple BLT ended up in my recieving an Egg and Bacon sandwich. And after explaining what A BLT is, they just removed the egg and slapped on some lettuce and tomato. It was still dripping in BBQ sauce. I do NOT advise anyone go here. It is a disgrace to it’s former self.
Rip Off. Good food but not enough of it. Meat fillings are like a few scraps put on bread. Dine in servings are standard cafe prices but served up very small.
