Very mediocre Malaysian food unfortunately even though we had high hopes. We ordered Roasted Chicken Rice, Belacan Okra, Char Kway Teow & Kelantan Fried Chicken as they ran out of Ayam Rempah. The Roasted Chicken was dry though had crispy skin, chicken rice no flavor. Strangely they served Thai sweet chilly sauce to go with the chicken rice and fried chicken. Belacan Okra was pretty ok, large portion though not spicy. Char Kway Teow average, has decent amount of wok Hei but tiny portion for the price. Kelantan Fried Chicken average.
One of the new addition in the reopened Northpoint foodcourt. Very popular at lunch time, basically if you arrive after 12:30, you’ll be met with a healthy size queue. You’ll find all the standard Malaysian Hawker favourites here. It’s hard to go past there Laksa, which I have already came back a second time for. Well balanced punchy laksa soup base, the seafood version has lots of seafood & toppings, prawns, squid, fishballs, bean curd, tofu puffs. Aside from the Laksa, the Ipoh Hor Fan & the Milk Tea are also good. Next on the list to try is their Roti, can’t wait.
