I went here due to staying at Rydges for work. 1st night I had the Wagyu burger and it tasted funny. I then spent the next 5 hours in the bathroom, and questioning my choices. Next night i’d been out for a few beers and against my sober judgement went again to soak up some beer before bed. I was then treated to a steak that was so overpriced it’d put restaurants in Perth, WA. to shame. $40 for a sirloin on refried beans and nothing else, it was gristly and sliced to give the impression of a larger steak, but no other sides. Shocking!!
Despite The Rydges looking decrepit, the restaurant was actually a shinin star in a rough surround. Great, friendly staff. Excellent Argentinan / Spanish style meat and sides. Lovely.
Dog Dick Dinner. Website is very deceiving, service was great but food tasted like it came out of a can. Overpriced. I would prefer to lick the bottom of a homeless man’s foot. Too quiet. It was a friday night and we were the only people there, so i assume we weren’t the only ones that think this.
Bonus is free wireless! also if you are a Rydges member you can get 50% off food and drink food is pretty good but could have a little more spice
Eh. I wouldn’t go out of my way. Nice touch ordering with iPads though.
IPad great idea if they showed you how to use it properly . Where do I start on this place? Staying at hotel alone on business went to get a table only to be told there is a wait . The resturaunt was 1/4 full , I was told to wait at the bar an obvious ploy to get me to buy a drink. 20 minutes passed before I ask batman to check on the wait. Surprise they were able to seat me in one of the 12 empty tables. Got handed an iPad , shown how to flick through menu and add items to order. Minor detail missed you mist hit submit order in top corner or your order does not hit kitchen ooops . I sat there for another 20 minutes before I looked at iPad again and realized no help from staff. iPad does all the work for them . Food was average and over priced avoid this place
Mundo mas mal. Miss M and the toy boy were on a quest to sample the tapas restaurants of the lower north shore. Mr Google enticed them to the first restaurant in Sydney to exploit the iPad novelty craze. The iPad thing was interesting, pity the food wasn’t.Lukewarm, overcooked food arrived on cold plates on a chilly winter’s evening. After complaining and leaving, Miss M is still waiting for the Food and Beverage to call her.
