I have had takeaways from Top Speed Thai maybe once every 1-2 months for the last 5 years.The food is always good quality. This restaurant has a somewhat sweeter palate across the menu.The service is a bit variable, and so tolerated from a takeaway/delivery point of view. Occasionally the protein is mixed up (usually chicken and beef), and for apartment buildings, sometimes the delivery person will bring to door, sometimes collection at lobby required.
Food and service were both quite nice, but we were seated right next to the foldable gladd wal at the front, and when someone would open or close the door, we almost lost everything on our table, and there were a lot of little bugs flying around us which was kind of off putting. Overall the food was still good and no bugs were found in or on the food, which helps
A lovely casual Thai restaurant with very friendly services. The staff treat customers like good old friends and they care about their dining experience. There is no public surcharge. The crispy pork belly with chinese broccoli is a fantastic hearty dish and the fried flat noodles is very flavoursome. If I must find fault, the dishes may be a tad too salty. #1 place I go to for fast delivered thai food. Staff are always super polite and food is consistently good. The tofu in my pad thai usually comes in massive chunks which is a little annoying but other than that no complaints here.
Terrible food had egg shells in my noddles. Never coming back. Food was far from being authentic, waitress was rude. The food tasted like a bunch of things mixed together, not impressed. Avoid this place
Specifically stated no animal products (meat, eggs, dairy), and halfway through my curry came, I found a small piece of pork, was very disappointed that it had made it’s way in there. Otherwise, curry was alright, not bad, it is worth what you pay for. Vegetarian dumplings weren’t very good (the sauce was what made it okay tasting), and the curry puffs were nice but the pastry was a bit too heavy for my liking. Overall not bad, just very disappointed that I did find the piece of meat – does not seem like a big deal, but makes you wonder about cross contamination and the issues people with allergies/dietary requirements can have.
Top Speed Thai certainly lived up to their name, delivering fresh hot Thai food on time, every time. I have ordered a few times from this restaurant and each time it is consistently awesome. Very impressed with this local gem!
