The shop looks clean enough however after placing an order I realised the sausage rolls and pies looked old. The man behind the counter told me I could get a can from the fridge. After further inspections realised most of the cans had dirt all around the rims. Asked for a wet tissue to clean it (which eventually took several tissues to get the dirt off the inside of the rim). I had ordered a chicken burger with mayonnaise. The mayonnaise was a watered down pink mixture that looked unappealing and tasted even worse. I asked for a side of just plain mayonnaise, which he pulled out from the bottle – it tasted like mayonnaise and wasn’t pink disgusted watery goo. I tried to wipe what I could off the burger and replace it with the mayonnaise. Had this weird disgusting taste in my mouth afterwards. It’s not often I take the time to write these reviews but I just feel gross now. Who knows what they put in their ‘special mayonnaise’, the man wasn’t forthcoming and seemed to just want me to shut up and eat up. It is safe to say, I will never purchase anything from this store again and does not even rate the 1 I’ve had to put here.
