A rustic cafe just outside of Orange’s town centre, the Agrestic Grocer serves up some surprisingly good food at rather fair prices. We tried the pancake stack with the beetroot hot chocolate but unfortunately the hot choc wasn’t anything too great and really just a pink coloured regular hot chocolate.The pancakes however were quite nice especially with the jams they served it with (think it was strawberry and rhubarb) and definitely a good portion size!If you’re ever passing through Orange and in need of some brunch you absolutely can’t go wrong with the Agrestic Grocer.
I have a confession to make, I had never had waffles and southern fried chicken until I visited the Agrestic Grocer. These Belgian waffles dripped with sriracha maple syrup and were accompanied by deep fried pickles. One word. Yummy. #waffles #southernfriedchicken
