Off the main road cafe, this is tucked away in a lane way and easy to miss if not looking for it. There is indoor and courtyard seating, it was quite busy so opted for a takeaway coffee over a dine in. The service is friendly and they were patient with a customer in front of me who couldnt make up their mind. Had a Mocha and it was decent.
A lot of things right and a lot of things they couldn’t get right.Great location and courtyard, Coffee averageFood: they over cooked the poach eggs, burned the toast and the croissant.Music: such a relaxing enviroment, ruined by poor music choice, i mean who need gangnam style at 930 am on a sat morning.
Great little cafe just off oxford street in paddington. Backyard patio feel with an upstairs level as well. Coffee was good and the chicken sandwich was very tasty with great focaccia bread. Service and prices were solid. Would recommend for an afternoon coffee and light meal
This cafe is hidden away in mid-Paddington off Oxford St. The interior is very cute. The dishes look very pretty too, good for instagram cosmesis. Food is average; you can see on the menu that there is an attempt to make food more unique but I’m not sure if it delivers. Portion sizes are small. Overall a good place for a afternoon chit chat but not one for a gastronomic experience.
I like this cafe a lot. They’ve updated the menu recently and it’s improved greatly: a good mix of all-day breakfast items and lunch options, mostly cafe food with an Asian twist. That said, there are also some surprises on offer like a Mexican taco trio. My favourite things are the porridge (topped with quinoa and seasonal fruit) and the nourishing bowl – a truly delicious mix of brown rice, avocado, cherry tomatoes, marinated mushrooms, crispy lotus chips and a seasoned egg. It’s so good. Very nice coffee, and the staff are really great – always super friendly and accommodating. I’m a fan of the split-level set-up too. Prices are on the expensive side, but that’s Paddington for you.
Such a lovely little spot. Multi-level seating area and great service. All breakfasts were loved- aussie samurai, baked ricotta and eggs, Egyptian eggs flair, and the wakey breakfast. Beautifully presented and generous servings. House-made relish a stand out!
Absolutely loved this place! Very relaxed outlay with upstairs outdoor seating. I’m a big eater and love to be able to try a few items everywhere i go, so was thankful when the waitress allowed me to order off the ‘mum+kids’ menu! With that, i ordered myself a roast beef sandwich and half a ‘three musketeers’ grilled cheese. The roast beef sandwich was awesome. Slightly crunchy flatbread surrounding roast beef with a tangy and sweet relish. The grilled cheese was excellent with the added basil pesto is what stands it apart. Looking forward to revisiting on my next trip.
