Best beef burger and steak I’ve ever had. Asian is amazing. All the food is of such high quality was left amazed. Pizza was really good too.
Went to the London for a drink and spotted this asian restaurant. Menu looked great so we decided to grab a bite to eat. We ordered a delicious san choi now, a dumpling sampler and duck pancakes. The food was extremely good and service was fast. Our waitress was also very friendly! Great food, a tad expensive, but very nice. aroundtheclockfoodie.com
A great looking venue upstairs…warehouse/industrial feel. Downstairs in ‘the pub’ was a bit different due to the ‘sports crowd’ that had turned up later. In saying that, upstairs was a different atmosphere altogether. Food (Asian influence) was fantastic particularly the pork belly and the pickled mushroom. We also enjoyed dumplings and some beautiful chilli Ocra which was delicious. They catered really well for food allergies too (GF). Better than the food was the service. For such a busy place they were on to it & didn’t miss a beat.A pricey venue but worth a night out of your week
I simply love this place! It’s food is unique in this city, but truly inspired by Chinese food that you get in china! Great staff and mouthwatering food
We really wanted this spot to be great but alas, you don’t always get what you want. Food was alright, nothing exciting or inspirational just all pedestrian. The pauses in between each dish being served is what became boring. When I could not split the dumpling serve and get six instead of four , I had to double our order and try less dumplings, the pot stickers a tad better than the bug dumpling which I found had a bit of a mush texture. Bang bang chicken, ok, chilli salt tofu, umph, pepper steak , alright , just pretty lean on the steak. Two chilli fish, kinda nice except our rice did not get served till everything else was eaten and we had to cancel our greens because we did not want to wait any longer. The best dish was the eggplant and pork mince and even this lacked character. Then I had to go pay at the counter as I was bored of waiting for my bill, I think they were waiting on the kitchen to prep our six slices of orange. Shame I don’t have a shit hot local I can rely on to hit up for a good feed every couple of weeks.
Sloppy, microwaved style food that looks like it should be served at a kids birthday party. Pretty disappointing and not worth having dinner here when the grand national serves good grub around the corner.
Our company went to the Melbourne cup day. Whilst the pub itself was great, they were woefully very underprepared. The main meal was served at around 3:10pm during the race and extremely late. They also ran out of the set menu desert. Instead of Strawberry Tea Cake we got some tart they purchased somewhere else with strawberries. Won’t be going back there for big events again.
