My husband and I have dined here on a couple of occasions. The wine list is incredible, but I can’t help but order the mystery wine as it’s always a winner. Highly recommend the sticky lamb ribs, eggplant parmigiana, and cauliflower salad. Staff are so wonderful and attentive. This has certainly become my favourite place to go and unwind after work.
Loved this place! If only it was closer to home the atmosphere is great, with two awesome bartenders. Drink/ wine list is extraordinary ranging from cognac & spirits to wines by the glass! The food is on a tapas-like style but the flavours are really there especially with the truffle mac N’ cheese! Stayed all the way till close Will definitely be returning!!
I have been wanting to come here for years! Even when I was in Paddington, I didn’t get to try this place until now.My friends and I shared a bottle Shiraz and bottle of Rose. Their wine listing is extensive with a wide range of prices. The food menu is designed to be shared and they were accomodating enough to give us 4 items on some of their items on the menu they came in 3 per serve such as the arancini balls and empanadas.Staff were friendly and we shared the empanadas, arancini balls, pate, cauliflower salad and the highlight being their beef cheeks. Then we all had a dessert each, I had their cheesecake and I tried my friends strawberry and passionfruit mess which is apparently their most popular but I found it too sweet. I would def bring my husband for my next visit!
Yum!!! What amazing food they have here!! Between the four of us we got; mushroom arancini balls, halloumi, peas n mint salad, cauliflower salad, Mac n cheese and chicken n leek pie. Would definitely recommend all of the above and 6 plates of tapas was plenty to share between us. Everything was so tasty and delicious, wine here is superbservice is lovely and the atmosphere is nice and cozy.
Hiding away at the very top of Oxford Street this intimate little venue is a wine connoisseurs dream. With over 500 to pick from you could easily be here all night sipping away. However, it was actually the dessert that blew us away with it’s decadence. Amazing date night.
Visited the wine library last night with friends and it was a pleasant surpris. On entry, it’s got a non pretentious front with very warm wait staff saying hello even from behind the bar – where they’re busy. That’s nice. We had a lovely Malbec, spiced lamb panini, the arancini, pea salad, trout. Small light meals to share when having a lovely glass or two with good conversation. Happy to recommend. For $222 including a bottle of red ($135), it’s definitely worth a visit!
I LOVE this place, every time, every occasion, the food and wine exceeds my expectations. I cannot believe how good the food is, especially for the price – awesome value for money let alone amazing food!!!! The service is actually the best in Sydney as far as bar’s go. The wine is the biz and the staff actually know their stuff and are super lovely
