This place is so poorly managed, the owner should perhaps do some sort of business course. Normally my sister has been purchasing the coffees for us and using her loyalty cup. So on Sunday we bought 4 coffees, and each day after 2. they didn’t have the loyalty cards but told me that they would back punch them when they came in. We purposely paid on card to keep a trail. Anyways today happened, the owner refused to honour the back punch and also refused to honour the information that the staff member gave me. He said tell me who and i will sack them… like really I am going to tell you who and they’ll lose their job. What kind of management skills is that. So I decided then and there I won’t bother coming back and I will go to our old regular places even though It’s a little out of the way during the week… the owner adds in that he is always giving free coffees without the loyalty rewards card. As a form of, I am a generous person I don’t care about money redemption attitude. IF that’s the case, why wouldn’t you think well I can see these customers are unhappy. They CAN provide evidence and I can see something went wrong at some point. I’m just going to say well okay this time only. But instead, knocked me back and completely stirred me. Your claim of selling great coffee is a high statement. it’s okay not great. it was only convenient. the fact you don’t even offer phone service also demonstrates lack of service. I suppose experiences like this reminds me of how great my little Toby estate coffee place is. I hope vanilla bean jumps back with the coffee and take back their old customers. You may have the crowd now, and you seem to have the loyalty of the police and ambulance workers. however your attitude is appalling. know why those loyalty cards were created. if you hate them so much, get rid of it. they were created to retain customers loyalty. obviously when a couple buys 2 coffees a day, they should hit a free one at some point in the same week.After venting at work I just needed to share my experience here too.

Pod By Peter is a hidden gem amongst the shops near Padstow train station. Coffee is excellent and the desserts are amazing. They have various flavours of muffins every day and they are all loaded with crazy toppings. There is also a large sandwich selection and lots of healthy options. Staff are all quite friendly and service isnt too long of a wait.
My family and i decided to come here after lunch for dessert and it was awesome. We actually didn’t order anything from their menu aside from drinks but from the desserts shown on display. The toblerone wonderland was yum. Coffee was good too. Service is alright i guess but theres definitley room for a smile or two.
