Been here a few times and always had a great time. Music is great, food is delicious and the drinks are well priced. The fried mozzarella sticks are so tasty with a herb dressing & I recommend the bang bang salad as well
Don’t miss out on this little gem of a bistro – there have been big changes here – European Style Bistro food combined with bar stool favourites – pizza and chicken wings ; great sports vision and draught beer ; old school pub oozing cool .
Overpriced and stingy. Burger I had was made of cheapskate bread-extended patty and had a very stale crumby bun. No pickles (although it did have beetroot and a strange caramelised onion spread). If you’re here and need to eat, get a special because normal price is too much and absolutely not worth…
The food is average/alright but really expensive for what it is. The 10 dollar special before 6:30 is good value but its pretty simple but for 10 bucks you can’t really complain at that. Don’t get a pizza from here they are fairly poor and REALLY expensive and they seem to take forever with them. We had a burger which was ok but it was priced the same as a gourmet burger bar. Wouldn’t get food from there again unless I was already at Panania pub for whatever reason. They would be decent pub food if it wasn’t for the hefty price of everything.
Gone down hill badly. Waited 45 mins for the meal. Burger and ships were cold and the salmon was burnt. Very disappointed as they use quite good
22nd November. Disgrace went to see a band tonight hijacked by young losers so pissed could hardy stand up.. You don’t have style,class , or coolness for the old bands stick to your mind numbing crap that has no lyrics just repetitvity trust me we will not hijack your night.. Used to love panania pub… Good luck get done decent security that move their feet
Pick up your game!. As I local I have regularly attended Panania Hotel for dinner, drinks and even my own 21st birthday. Unfortunately in the last year or so the quality of food has diminished considerably! This is such a shame because the price is so affordable and the ambience is great! Overall it has everything that a great pub has to offer – expect the food! Each time I attend I dread what could happen – over/ under cooked steak, over cooked prawns and the worst so far a giant bone in my barramundi that I didn’t initially notice until it was halfway down my throat and I started to choke, ended up cutting my oesophagus! I really hope they pick up their game because at this point The Mill which is only 5 minutes up the road is the clear front runner in pub dining!
