In a previous lifetime Circa Espresso could have just been an old grey concrete, unused drive way… but now this lively little pug and his chefs create some incredibly tasty and balanced dishes!Sharing residence with the next door Barber Shop Circa has all outdoor seating, complete with blankets for the cooler days. This little mismatched cafe has all sorts of quirks, before you even look at the menu. They pride them self on their small batch coffee, which are used and sold in house. With many coffee options on the menu we decided to stray from the beaten track and tried the Black Sesame Affogato. It was hot, cold, smooth and creamy with the distinctive flavour of black sesame. We ordered the Winter Ragout and the Vegan Bowl, both very tasty and wholesome. Its hard to find good vegan food thats jam packed with flavour and texture, the makes you feel full and satisfied. Nice one Circa!! The dish of the day was the vegetarian Granola Bowl. A middle eastern influenced granola with grandvewe sheep’s yoghurt, saffron pear, poached tamarillo and rhubarb. Such a pleasant shock to palate! We have never tried anything quite like this dish! The granola was chunky and crisp, with the smooth sheeps yoghurt giving a slightly salty twang, easily offset with a sharp tamarillo flavour and some sour/ bitter notes from the grapefruit segments. A must try down at Circa! Our taste buds were in a frenzy!

Amazing food, good ambience and friendly staff. Make sure you can arrive bit early than your schedule time coz this place is always busy and you may need to wait 10 mins or so.

This is a very narrow restaurant with very dim lighting, but the vibes are fantastic and very chill. It’s a great place to relax. They have an awesome feature wall, which is great for photos, right outside the doorway. It’s very busy, but I really rate their music taste! Their service is great and very prompt and the presentation of their food is so pleasing, if only the lighting was better to really capture every bit of the food. Will definitely come back to try this cafe when I’m in the area!!

Delicious. Simple clean food. Cooked well with interesting flavour combinations. French toast was delicious and light. Ottoman eggs cooked well. Crispy eggplant on the bottom was delicious. Great hidden gem. Loved the fact there was no standard scrambled eggs and bacon on the menu. Different flavours worth the try.
