This place had a feel of a Newtown bar but in parra. The cocktails are pricy and the food was below average. If you come here, I recommend eating some…

Always wanted to go here! It was small and had great vibes, great for a spontaneous local night out, the food was also tasty for a small bar, very basic but delicious. I ordered the vegetable toastie and it certainly delivered. The espresso martinis were strong but great for a buzz ! Polite and laid back staff, they also had a dj to set the mood. Nice dim atmosphere, too loud to have dnms haha
Cute little urban looking place which can be easily missed. I’ve walked past numerous times to go to work but never noticed it. Yummy food and an extensive alcohol list this place is definitely one to try.Price isn’t bad but the only thing missing is the chips to accompany their sandwiches or hot dogs. It has a red light so is a bit hard to take photos in. I suggest visiting in summer where there is daylight when they open. All in all, a good experience with the food and staff were super friendly.
These guys are the best! Awesome drinks, friendly staff. My friends and I go there all the time. If you want a chill night with good music, Uncle Kurt’s is the place for sure. 🙂
You wouldn’t expect this kind of place in parramatta. Hidden near the back alley within a car park is pretty cool. The service is nice and the cocktails are cute. I wish I had bigger glasses but the vibe is very cool. Come here to chat with mates and be greeted by enthusiastic staff.
This place enticed me, sharing the same name as myself. It is a cool, sort of secret/hidden dive bar that wouldn’t look out of place in Surry Hills, Darlinghurst or Newtown. Metal bars on the shopfront and inside, the bar itself looks like a derelict shop that has been smashed by taggers, with graffiti all over the walls. Gritty rap music to set the tone. Don’t be put off by the look, it’s themed this way and is pretty cool. Staff were super friendly and they had a great whisky cocktail list, as well as other drinks. We were also informed that they do a great reuben if you’re after something to eat. Unfortunately we had already had dinner so will have to return to try this out. They had some innovative cocktails including one called breakfast in kentucky; cornflake infused whisky. However on this occasion I went for the garden on fire which had good flavour combinations of Rye, islay whiskey, oloroso sherry, smoked plum syrup and Xocolatemole bitters. Well balanced flavours – a very nice cocktail! aroundtheclockfoodie.com
Great little Brooklyn style cocktail bar. Previously only open Nights, now doing a Friday lunch trade as well. I got a watermelon and sage cocktail, very light and refreshing. The Reuben was.the highlight. Flavour, texture, presentation. All boxes ticked. The sausage had amazing flavour, the casing was just a bit hard to negotiate – suppliers fault not UK’s.
Great little bar located in parramatta which has a great cocktail list and food bar menu. The place feels very hip hop New York style and the customer service is very attentive. I highly recommend the pastrami po boy.
