I have mixed feelings about this spot. The food is delicious and the servings are very generous and reasonably priced. But, I came here last week on a Saturday night and everything seemed a little chaotic despite not being that busy. The table we sat at was dirty unfortunately and no one came to take our order although I saw them take orders from other diners around us. I had to finally go up and order at the bar… Also, I dont really understand why food is not allowed in the open area at the back? And no one gave me an explanation when I asked. I think Im gonna give this place another try at some point in the future and see if the service improves.
Came to this place for a weekday lunch. Trendy ambience, big bar and spacious seating area. They also have special deals for different days but on this visit I was intrigued to try their gigantic burger, Noah’s Ark. Love it. Everything comes in two (yaass!). 2 x wagyu beef patties covered in cheese, 2 x fried chicken, 2 x bacon and veggies slathered in tomato and burger sauce. The popcorn chicken fries are crispy and cheesy. Highly recommend.
Sunday arvo drinks and feed, great venue.. very trendy and well decorated. The menu is good, starters have good selection. Starters were delish: jalapoppers, calamari and chips all yummy. Cheeseburger not too exciting but nice. Happy with the food but nothing too special. I found other burger bars around Penrith more exciting with menu choices
Atmosphere is great, decor is pretty, staff are very friendly and food is good. I tried the (potato) waffles with guacamole and salsa and it was so good! Very tasty, nice flavours and surprisingly the chips didn’t go soggy. Mac and cheese croquettes were a little bland but that was probably because I didn’t have the sauce that came with it as it was spicy.
I get what they are trying to do here but it kinda just misses. The food was generous and the menu reads really well but the actual food lacks a little punch. We had the mac n cheese croquettes (I suspect factory made) and a couple of burgers which were ok but not great. The service was also a bit haphazard, they brought our bill before we finished eating, without asking first. Would we give it another go? Probably yes.
Have been here a few times now, before and after the renovations and full fit out was complete.I enjoyed the old burger specific menu more than the updated one with the pizza. The craft beer selection is solid, and the burgers are pretty near what I want in a burger! Hopefully some of the old classics will come back permanently!
Overly generous serving of chicken in your burger which is almost a schnitzel meal on it’s own. Add some waffle fries ans you have yourself a perfect post workout carb load Never had any issues, great service and AMAZING burgers. This is the southern fried chicken burger and cheese + bacon waffle fries.
