Brilliant little cafe. Since i first discovered them earlier this year, I have had the pleasure of dining at two beans on many occasions and am yet to be in any way dissatisfied.I was first drawn to two beans by the delicious aroma wafting through the arcade. As I walked inside i noticed that the place was very neat and clean. I was greeted by 2 very polite and well presented young men who straight away made me feel welcome. The owner also seemed a very genuine man, coming over and introducing himself and his business but also taking time to get to know me too which i quite liked. Every time i have been in since, all 3 staff members have provided the most exceptional customer service. The selection and quality of their food is also outstanding. The chef, despite being so young, is truly remarkable and the fact he uses only fresh ingredients and makes everything from scratch makes it that much more. Good size meals, wide selection, delicious flavours and reasonable price – you cant lose. The coffee is what sells two beans for me though. The young barista hands down makes the best cuppa in penrith. Quality beans, always nice and hot, never burnt flawless milk (without a thermometer) and beautiful coffee art, two beans cafe is definitely head and shoulders above the rest.
Pleasant Surprise. I found this little cafe in Elizabeth Arcade the day after boxing day. Unfortunately most cafes are closed around Penrith over the Christmas and new year period. I was drawn to cafe because their use of Morgans coffee, a roaster which i love. The man behind the counter (who i suspect is the owner) was very polite and well spoken. My partner and I ordered some breakfast, bacon and egg sourdough roll, the roll was perfect. Cooked well, fresh and neat (though many may not find important I find it shows that the person making it cares about the food), the biggest failing with most cafes is missing the simple things like good simple food that ultimately makes them a disappointment something you do not have to fear at Two Bean cafe.I had a skim latte it was made well and presented well. A good quality coffee made with care. I will return and hope that it remains consistent and will consider it a little gem hidden away in Penrith.
