I have been dining here for 3 years, and believe this has to be one of Sydney’s best kept secrets in perfect Italian family dining. They make one of the best pizza’s in Sydney, they also make their own gnocchi from scratch, and all pasts dishes cooked al dente. The very friendly family run restaurant and staff are always reliable consistent quality of their pasta and sauces every time I have been. Prices are very affordable, and everyone I have sent by recommendation have come back with good feedback. Hard to find good quality Italian restaurants in the area, especially when most of Leichhardt has become a ghost town.
Rude. Good food and friendly owner, except for his wife, who was very rude and unpleasant.
We used a voucher and opened with a fresh salad. Shared mains if a pizza and pasta. Food was very fresh and pizza base was perfect. Friendly service and house wines were good
Great friendly family run restaurant and pizzeria. Yummy pizzas and pastas, fresh salads with homemade dressings, but we haven’t tried the veal/chicken dishes yet. Our boys love the pasta!
Buon Gusto. The food was ok. The service poor. I paid $30 as part of a large group and received less than an entree’s worth of food. Left the restaurant still very hungry. Most people in the group experienced the same thing. Simply not enough food. We were told that because there were 20 of us (not a particularly difficult catering size) we could not order separate meals! We had to agree to a set menu and a set amount of money. To pay $30 and leave hungry is just unacceptable when there is so much good, inexpensive dining in Sydney. Definitely not going back.
Bad experience. Waited about 30 mins for the wine we ordered after sitting down. Took ages to get our entree which was unfortunately the highlight of the meal (garlic pizza which was delicious). My sister had one of the pizzas which was average at best. I had the marinara which was the worst I’ve ever had. Was not worth the price at all. Our waiter was really friendly but it was just too slow and the food below par. will not be eating here again.
Very Yummy Pizza’s!!!
