A strange experience – I booked a table for Father’s Day through Dimmi and earned credit points for that. The restaurant then phoned me to say they would be very crowded and could I move my booking to 12.30pm. That was inconvenient as we were returning from the central coast on Sunday morning so we settled on 2.30pm.I then received a message from Dimmi that the restaurant had cancelled my booking, not amended it. Consequently I lost my credit points. That was confusing so I booked elsewhere and forgot about Gloria’s. I received a phone call mid-afternoon asking if I was turning up but I didn’t hear the phone ring in the dining noise at the alternative.Very confusing. I think restaurants should be able to change details of your booking if they able to cancel it.
