Family of four for a Saturday breakfast. All the mains were great and priced accordingly. Ambiance is good and service OK. My only negative would be the coffee. The selection of cakes looked amazing.

We holiday at Fingal bay regularly and this cafe used to be a winner. Last couple of visits have been disappointing. Food was really slow to come out today (I have a feeling they forgot our order and came out 10mins after we chased it. Can’t say for sure as no apology from the wait staff even though it was much later than some other people who ordered after us.) The food hasn’t been as good lately as well. While the dish looked pretty on the plate, the poached eggs I had today was way undercooked (not a problem usually as I love runny eggs, but 1/2 of the egg white was still liquid) and the whole dish was under seasoned, especially the pesto. Disappointing.

Good, relaxed lunch cafe. Good clean Cafe, friendly and attentive service. Serves were very generous, enjoyed by us both. Great little spot!

Unexpectedly good. Dropped in for breakfast in a state of hypoglycaemic decaffeinated desperation, with low expectations. Ended up with one of the best brekky plates (the vegetarian) I have ever had. Coffee was decent too. Service was fine, but glad I was there on a weekday morning and not a busy saturday though. Went back for lunch, and that was good too. All at the table were pleased with what they got, and the waitress was on to it. No view, but a nice seabreeze coming through, which we wouldnt have got on the strip at nelson bay. Worth a shot!
