We were the last in for dinner as we were running late to get to Shoal Bay for the long weekend. Ordered the fish & chips (barramundi) and was not dissapointed. The service was friendly and welcoming and the chef came out to confirm that the barra was local not the overseas version. Would go back for dinner again if in the area.
We ordered 2 pizzas and waited for over 45 minutes (in an empty restaurant). When we asked about our pizzas, we found out they had forgotten about them (again, there were almost no customers). After a longer wait, they delivered only one pizza. We advised them we had ordered and paid for two. They went to check with the chef and were advised the chef was refusing to do the second pizza as he had to do 4 more pizzas before ours (which we had ordered an hour ago, before any other customer!). Overall a horrible experience and pizza (far from the italian standards).
The menu for little ones was fantastic, spaghetti with sauce spot on the adult dishes were cooked to perfection, as good as any Italian restaurant I have been to in a long time, they also coped extremely well with our 2 year old running around! Would thoroughly recommend this place!
