We ordered some take away from here on our short stay in Nelson Bay and were bitterly disappointed when we opened the boxes once back to our unit. The pizza and calamari looked like something you would buy from the freezer section at the supermarket. We had 2 pieces and threw out the rest. It was very oily and stained my husbands pants on the car ride home as he cradled the pizzas on his lap. Very frustrating to pay good money for bad food. Very disappointing and not worth the $60 it cost us for 2 pizzas and some calamari.
We just stopped here for gelato. They import it from Italy. The service was great and the restaurant was nicely decorated. I would go back and try dinner here if we were able to. Sadly, we leave soon and already have plans tomorrow.
