Hesitant when it comes to dining out in Nelson Bay but, this place exceeded my expectations. Ordered the chilli crab and seafood platter. Fresh seafood with generous portions..good value for $$
They do a really good strawberry daiquiri! However the food was poor, especially for the price. The “seafood spaghetti” tasted like it had come out of a can, so sweet. My 10 year old couldn’t eat it. Decor is tired. Needs a freshen up, both environment and it’s food. Could be good.
Terrible, terrible, terrible from start to finish! They got everyones orders wrong (including ours) people around us were walking out.. thought we’d give them the benefit of the doubt until our snapper arrived with a hair inside it! Shocking.Oh & the guy at the bar was drinking whilst taking orders.
Stumbled upon this place by accident and were thoroughly impressed. Service is fantastic – knowledgeable without being pretentious, friendly and interested. Food was amazing – seafood platter was huge and so fresh. Duck Spring Rolls were delicious and wine & beers of a great selection. Do yourself a favour!
