The food wasnt great but acceptable although I wouldnt have paid so much for it. Had the hainan chicken rice and the roast duck with plum juice. Despite the staff and some customers saying Hainan chicken rice would be delicious I found it very disappointing. The chicken was over cooked and the sauce for seasoning the chicken was off. Furthermore the chilli sauce for dipping the chicken came from a bottle… the rice thats cooked with chicken stock was quite disappointing too and that normally is one of the exciting part of having hainan chicken rice. Roast duck with plum juice wasnt bad but not worth the $20. The portion was big but the duck was quite fatty. The juice was slightly too acidic towards the end of the meal too. Overall ok but definitely not worth the money. There are better place to eat in Potts point.

Came here last night in search of a late night dinner. My beef ratang was very average. Beef could’ve been softer. Very plain, and presentation left something to be desired. My wife’s Bibimbap was superb though. It comes out sizzling in a cast iron bowl. Very dramatic and quite delicious.
Worst experience I’ve had at a Sydney restaurant in the last couple years. I ordered a roti and curry with rice, they gave me the roti soon after ordering yet my curry took over 40 mins to arrive afterwards whilst everyone else around was served well before this, and again they delay bringing my rice another 10 minutes. By the time I started eating, my roti had already become stone hard and cold. What restaurant does this. I will be recommending people against this place.
Usually I run scared of places with enormous menus but these guys seem to get all those options right. Just a great little midweek takeaway spot… I forget about it, very unassuming, which gives me a pleasant surprise every time I go there!
Monsoon7. We were lucky enough to find this little GEM a few years ago and now have become regulars on most weeks. The food is sensational and we try a new dish on recommendation from the staff and are still working through a great list of choices. The location of the restaurant in Lankelly Place is a vibrant laneway which has a character of its own. We find that part of the charm of dining here.Great Food, great selection and great location`- we love it !
Chewy inedible pork, flavourless chicken curry. Only the spring tolls were nice. Two mains and two starters for almost $80. Rip off!
