I went on a Sunday evening and the music was loud af, so loud that it was hard to order your drink at the bar. I was not expecting this environment on a quiet Sunday evening. The banquet was well priced and yummy. They could work on the soft shelled tacos though. Cute name and great location.

Came here for some beautiful rooftop drinks and some snacks on our annual Sydney eating long weekend just after Christmas. What an awesome spot! Cocktail jugs, sweet potato fries and calamari what could be more perfect? Soo many stairs but a cool journey along the way as you climb up past Kit and Caboodle and other fun spaces. Sweethearts is part of the Keystone group which is what led me to it as they are behind a lot of cool spots in Sydney one of which (The Gazebo) is a firm favourite. Love the garden party atmosphere. Long live the Cross

Sweethearts is conveniently located near kings cross station and when you get there head straight to the roof top. Be prepared however to walk up numerous flights of stairs! The decor on the rooftop is fun and there are lots of sections to enjoy the atmosphere whilst still getting your own space. It is a great spot for a cocktail and I wanted to order one of their signatures however they were out of an ingredient. We then ordered the Garden Party – Hendricks, st Germain, lemon, basil, muddled chilli and cucumber. This cocktail was refreshing and aptly named as it certainly had the taste of fresh herbs from the garden. We also went for the El Captain Ronno which had captain morgan, lemon juice and egg white – it was sweet and delicious. The problem was the cocktails took 15 minutes to arrive after being ordered at the bar and the place was far from busy. The atmosphere is great however the service was below average. We didn’t sample the food but the menu had Mexican dishes with shares and starters as well as larger mains.

Cute rooftop that has a lot of potential. I’ve eaten here before but much prefer it for a drink on a summers afternoon. Atmosphere could be more laid back and staff could be friendlier.

Sweet(heart) ribs deal on Thursday nights! Large portions, tender and juicy lamb ribs although not as tasty as I expected. Prawns we’re perfectly cooked! Will definitely come back for more

Came to Sweethearts after a long day at work on Friday! $5 Tappy Hour and $10 Margaritas certainly hit the spot. We were joined by a few friends later in the evening and the bartender recommended some dishes we should try. We shared the calamari and the sweet potato wedges… Amazing! But the highlight of the night was their new Burger Bar which offered a vegetarian Kale, Sweet Potato and Quinoa Burger for $12.5 and a chargrilled Wagyu Beef and Bacon Cheeseburger for $15… Add onion rings and we were set. We shared this between 4 for around $50! Great value, great food and great service. Well worth the treck up the stairs. Keep up the good work. Will be back this Friday!!!
