Food honestly did not taste good, was expensive for the quality of food. Food tasted like all the food was cooked prior and just refrigerated and reheated. When concern was raised about the uncooked chicken the server gave us attitude. Was extremely unhappy with this place.

I went there with my family and a young baby and we got offered a comfortable seat in one of the cubicles. Staff was very friendly and introduced to us the dish we were interested. The seafood hotpot was amazing with a whole fish and swimmer crab, completely lifted the flavour of the dish. The snow cheese chicken is just so tender and juicy. I had apple soju too which made me feel so happy!

Banchans are good.Soju is a Korean restaurant located in Kinchin Lane at Wetherill Park Stocklands. They serve a variety of traditional Korean dishes. They have ample seating inside and outside the restaurant. It is pram friendly. We came for lunch as I am always keen on trying new restaurants. It was quiet when we arrived. We were seated promptly by a friendly waiter. Decor is modern. We ordered from the lunch menu. I ordered the Wagyu kimchi fried rice with snow chicken. My friend ordered the Ceramic pot bibimpap. Both our meals came with 2 banchans (sides) and daily soup. We couldn’t order any drinks from the bar as the barman went on a break, who goes on a break at lunchtime? Wasn’t impressed. The banchans and daily soup were the first to arrive. The sides consisted of kimchi, marinated seaweed, marinated bean sprouts, and pickled daikon. The daily soup tasted similar to a miso soup but nicer. It had seaweed inside. So far, so good.My fried rice came separate to my snow chicken, because of this, I forgot to take a photo. I was suprised however of the size of the dish, there was a lot of rice. The rice had nice salty, and spicy flavours. I could barely taste the wagyu or could even tell it was wagyu as it was cut into really small pieces. There also wasn’t much of it either, there was a lot of rice. There was also a decent serving of snow chicken. I’ve never tried it before so I was looking forward to what I thought was crunchy, cheesy, and salty chicken. I was suprised that it was sweet. It tasted a little weird. I did not like the combination of flavours. It was very sweet. It was however, crunchy and moist. The bibimpap looked yummy. It had rice topped with cooked carrots, bean sprouts, mushrooms, and mixed greens. There was some marinated beef and a runny egg on top. The meat was nice, sweet and salty but there wasn’t much of it. The vegetables primarily dominated this dish. We would have preferred more meat.Verdict: Nice selection of Banchans. More meat preferred in the dishes, had some nice flavours.

Amazing time here! Food was delicious and service quick and friendly. Over Christmas on one visit we also got free wine on the house to celebrate the festivities. How welcoming!
