Awesome food, quick and good service, can bring your own bottle of wine. Great for a casual dinner out with the family or friends. Curry’s are the best in lower south-west Sydney. Rivals holy basil in terms of taste.
Love the decor of the restaurant and the open kitchen. Fast service. Tasty dishes but smaller portions compared to most Thai restaurants. The massaman curry was too salty for my liking and slightly overpriced but overall, an enjoyable experience.
Thaidition opened up in the new Preston’s complex and I thought it would be worth a try, especially because I was having a major craving for Tom Yum soup. So on the menu that night- Tom Yum Soup – Chicken and Cashew Nut Stir fry – Chicken Pad See Ew- Lamb Chops – Thai beef salad The highlights would be the pad see ew and the chicken cashew nut stir fry. It was beautifully flavoured, right amount of marinade on everything and just was divine! Definitely one of the best stir fries I’ve had. Now the tom yum soup could’ve been abit more on the tangy/sour side. Personally for me it was a little too sweet but the seafood was very fresh. The Thai beef salad was nice but I’ve had better. Lastly, the lamb chops could’ve benefited from more fat rendering on the side. I find lamb can let off this funny smell if you don’t render the fat properly so it just wasn’t my favourite dish off the night since the fat was still so fresh. Overall this restaurant deserves 3.5/5 stars!
