The table was quite clean. The sushi on volcano roles and takoyaki was good. This place is a bit pricey considering their sushi and sashimi set is not like omakase or izakaya. If you live in far up Northshore, this place would be an easy and quick option. If you don’t mind to travel for digging in better than normal, you would go Willoughby, crow nest, or neutral bay.

Visited here last night for a family get together. Located in a business village its not exactly the first area you think of for very decent Japanese food.We tried the sushi and sashimi (very fresh), their sushi rolls are large, elaborate and delicious. Some of their hot dishes seem to be a fusion of western and Japanese influences (e.g. the short beef with kipfler potatoes), but the usual Japanese dishes are there also. The service is attentive and a lot of love is put into their dishes. The dining room is large and clean and there’s heaps of parking just outside the restaurant. All in all a highly recommended Japanese restaurant in a quiet area.

Awesome! Fantastic food is the reason we go there all the time. Fresh sushi and sashimi, great main dishes.. Beef short rib dish was amazing. Volcano roll is one of our favourite. Not to mention their friendly service. Good to know that there’s ample parking space. To be on the safe side, make sure you book the table. One thing is, wish they open on Sunday’s…

Off the beaten track, excellent food and service, lovely atmosphere. What a find – I’m hesitant to leave a good review in case it gets too busy… We had to think twice about where this restaurant was, we went because we saw a voucher in the North Shore Times. It is tucked away in some business units on Bridge St just off Ryde rd/Pacific Hwy. Once you find it though, it has a lovely atmosphere at night, quiet and lantern lit. The staff and service are really good and make sure you try the BBQ. The meat is amazing and the care taken to ensure you enjoy it is very sweet. We had some seafood and then did the tasting plate BBQ. The daily special of scampi sashimi was delicious and the chilli prawns were very good. On the BBQ, they suggested we cooked the marinated wagyu slices last and I can see why, they were amazing and great to finish on.This place really is worth a visit, but please don’t let it get too crowded so I can’t get a table!

Standout Local Japanese Restaurant. Went in on a quiet school night with my girlfriend and had a fantastic meal. The Volcano Roll was very flavoursome and the Chicken Nanban was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Service of the staff was also excellent. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a chilled-out local Japanese feed!
