Decent seafood platters. Their lobster isnt worth it though, way too rubbery and they just drench it with cheese and cream, so in reality theres not actually that much lobster meat. Their seared scallops contain a los of rice and a small scallop unfortunately…

Went to this place for lunch during my last visit to Sydney.Had a fried platter, tasted average like any other ordinary fried seafood. The fried prawns and fish were oily and slightly overcooked though. It was quite crowded and could hardly find an empty seat.Food & Beverage : 5/10Service : 5/10Price : 5/10Ambience : 5/10

The seafood was nice but not amazing or outstanding in any way. When I make the trek to the fish market and battle crowds and parking, I would expect great quality than something I can get from a local store. However, in this case, the food here does not warrant battling the long wait and busy crowds. But if you were to go and try, I would recommend the Kilpatrick ousters and mixed fresh oysters from Fish Market Cafe.

Fish market cafe at Fish market. We came in the Sunday lunch time. Busiest hour during the day and you can imagine the service and crowdedness. Not my type of the fish market I like as it is too commercial and seafood quality was average. stevengufoodtravelology.godaddysites.com

Famous for the their sushi donuts doshi and sushi tacos, Fish Market Cafe is located inside the Sydney Fish Market. Looking at the beautiful display, it was hard to decide what to get. We ordered the salmon and avocado red rice donut, tuna taco and a salmon scallop sushi. Everything was to die for.If you can only pick one item, my recommendation is the sushi donut. Not only are they incredibly pretty and instagrammable, but they taste as good as they look! Every bite is flavourful and balanced. Toppings are generous, fresh and of high quality. The sashimi hidden in the middle layer of the donut was a cool surprise. The tuna taco was also amazing. I loved the crispy shell, which provided a nice texture and crunch. The avocado and cucumber complimented the fresh sashimi.Overall I rate Fish Market Cafe out of 5, and recommend it as must visit in Sydney.
